7 Deepika Padukone Movies & Looks That Made Us Go Aww!

Deepika Padukone hasn't looked back since her breakthrough role in the hit film "Om Shanti Om." This highest-paid actress in Bollywood has made quite a stir in the industry with hit after success. Even when she's not on television, the camera adores Deepika for her personality, acting, and great sense of style. She is also one of the most beautiful women in the world.

You would all agree that Deepika Padukone is a true star in terms of how she has grown her career and become such a force to be reckoned with over the years. She has done everything from Piku to Padmaavat to Chennai Express to Cocktail, all of these fantastic, unique characters and stories that made us all fall in love with her, for sure.

We have listed some fantastic Deepika Padukone movies that everyone loved:

Om Shanti Om

Deepika Padukone's debut Bollywood film was “Om Shanti Om”. Nonetheless, it is considered one of her best films since she gave an exceptional performance. She played two roles in the film, and it was fantastic. It was never obvious that this was her first film. She, like King Khan Shahrukh, did an excellent job.

Cocktail

Deepika Padukone's Cocktail is yet another fantastic film. In the film, she played Veronica Malaney and gave a good and crisp performance. The movie was largely based on the theme “Friendship” and very beautiful chemistry was shown amongst all three actors.

The script was written by Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Ali, however, the story is refreshing. Pritam's music is pleasant and adds a touch of levity to the film. At the Filmfare Awards, Deepika was nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal in Cocktail.

Chennai Express

Deepika was represented as a South Indian girl in the film Chennai Express. In the movie, Deepika Padukone in saree looked stunning. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone had once again demonstrated that their chemistry works wonders. The film was a huge success. She was also nominated for Filmfare Award, Best Actress.

Piku

One of the classic Deepika Padukone movies, Piku, a new comedy-drama starring Deepika Padukone and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan that has a considerably shorter run time than your normal Bollywood movie, takes a modern look at the desi father-daughter connection.

Piku deviates from the classic flash and glam of traditional Bollywood while doing away with all the singing and dancing. Piku is a moving, heartwarming, and surprising film about an uncommon father-daughter relationship.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has all of the elements of a traditional Bollywood preppy romance while still remaining new and enjoyable. Despite the gloss and formulaic nature of the picture, Ayan succeeds in creating likable characters and situations with just the perfect amount of sweetness. That is what sets Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani apart from other cookie-cutter love stories. All the songs in the movie are heart-touching and fun. Deepika Padukone's “Batmeez Dil” look has won millions of hearts worldwide.

Padmaavat

Padmaavat is a Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed Indian-Hindi epic period drama film. Deepika Padukone plays Rani Padmavati, a Rajput queen noted for her beauty, in this film based on Malik Muhammad Jayasi's epic poem of the same name.

This was one of Deepika Padukone's movies that were largely controversial. Padmaavat received appreciation from the audience for exceptional direction, sets, cinematography, and acting but at the same time, it attracted a lot of criticism from a number of Rajput Organizations.

Chhapaak

Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar, treads a fine line in bringing a heinous crime against women into the mainstream — not just of the criminal justice system, but also of people's collective indignation. It is a biographical movie about Laxmi Agarwal, a 15-year-old girl who was attacked with acid.
